Summer is the season of love and weddings, which means planning, planning, and more planning! If you are going to take a trip down the aisle, the last few months of the planning process are fundamental to your big day. Use this recommended wedding timeline to help make sure your wedding day goes as smooth as possible:
3-4 Months Before
- Send wedding invitations. Check out this great chart if you need help knowing who you should invite
- Remind bridesmaids to schedule dress alterations
- Schedule hair and makeup trials
- Create wedding day schedule
- Tip: Send your schedule to your vendors, including: caterers, photographers and both the wedding parties
- Buy wedding shoes. You will want to have them early enough so you can bring them to your dress fittings and have enough time to break them in
- Tip: consider buying shoes a half size larger than normal so they feel great at the end of the day
- Set up a lover.ly account. It’s a great app to help your wedding planning process.
- Wedding Dress fitting

1-2 Weeks Before

- Relax! Wedding planning can get stressful, so make time to spend with your fiancé outside of wedding prep
